After two memorable days, judging and photography for Island Quilts 2021 is FINISHED! 
The judges and team of volunteers were exhausted by the end of the day yesterday*, but we went to sleep last night knowing we had done a good job. The respect when considering and handling each quilt was impressive; it’s a huge undertaking.
However the quilts themselves were our reward: some made us laugh; some touched us with the story they told; some made us gasp at their artistry; some dazzled our eyes; all were made by our wonderful members.
Now the magic** behind the scenes continues to attempt to create an online exhibition!
* Truth be told, we were exhausted well before the end of the day, but we kept going!
** Magic = geekiness.
