Island Quilts 2026 (IQ 2026) will be from Thursday 8 – Saturday 10 October in the fantastic MAC02 (18 Hunter Street, Hobart). We are looking forward to working with Craft Alive again.

Our 2026 Challenge is “Things with Wings”
Wings appear in nature, mythology, and human inventions, enabling flight, gliding, or symbolic freedom.
This will be an Open category judged by the team of local judges with appropriate prizes awarded. Entries to be up to 80cm on the longest side. Enter the challenge using the online entry form. Your challenge entry can be in addition to the four quilts you are allowed to enter (as per the Handbook) and will be free.
